Blenderman Back Online

Thursday 9th September 2004

Blenderman is back. And it's good to see.

Welcome to the new Blenderman.org. We at Blenderman.org are pleased to be able to Provide the Blender community with a newly remodeled site with many new features. It has been a lot of hard work but it will all be worth it when we start hearing from the community in our new forums on how they like the new site...The future of Blenderman.org will depend on it's users and their needs. Blenderman is adding and working on new things each day, but in order to know what is needed we will be asking the community to express them selves in the forums as well as surveys that will be posted in this section from time to time. So let your voice be heard, how else would we know what you need if you don't let us know?

That's true about it depending on the users. Better join up and take part peoples. It'll be interesting to see what happens.

They've changed the CMS running the site to PHPNuke and although they've removed the link from the footer, the backend.php script is still there, so if you have an news aggregator you can subscribe to the site. Actually that brings up a side point. I've noticed none of the Blender [or community] sites publish any feeds [RDF, RSS or Atom]. I wonder why?
