Fiber 2.03

grass ballI've finally had a chance to play around with Fiber, the python script for Blender that can produce fiber-like meshes...which can be used for things like, for example: hair, grass, carpet, etc.

For a taste of what Fiber can do, there's an example gallery. Or, if you keep up with the Finished Projects forum on elysiun, you're bound to find some fine examples of Fiber in use.

And to help you get through the first few hours of frustration, have a looksee at the Fiber 2.03 Guide. Not only does it give you a helping hand on how to use Fiber, but has other handy tips like how to install the script to be used from the scripts window, rather than running it from the text editor.

There's also a description on how to use Fiber here.
